G.I. Jack

Bold Brave Courageous had the great honor of having 6-year-old Jack dedicate his birthday party to supporting our cause.

In lieu of gifts, Jack asked all of his friends and family to bring comfort items that he intended to donate to Bold Brave Courageous to help support our wounded heroes. At his birthday party, Jack collected over four large boxes of comfort items, roller bags and electronics including CD players, radios and games.

The G.I. Jack party was a success, and we are sure that the wounded individuals who received the bags made from the items Jack collected have great admiration for one so young who was willing to give up his gifts to a cause he believes in.

G.I. Jack - Bold Brave Courageous salutes you!

Corporate Sponsorship Programs

Many of the donations we receive are from companies or organizations that run Sponsorship Programs among their employees or members. Here are a few examples of some very effective programs.

Dress Down Friday
Many companies allow their employees to dress casually on Fridays. By collecting a few dollars from each person for this privilege, the employees of Volvo of North America have donated several months' worth of collected funds to us with wonderful results.

Grab Bag Donations
One of our corporate sponsors organized a Grab Bag style collection from its participating employees by having them draw slips of paper from a hat with item suggestions on them. Over a 30-day period, they collected the items from the employees in a donor's box which resulted in many greatly appreciated fill items for our comfort bags.

Matching Donations
Many companies already have in effect Matching Donation programs where if the employees choose to make a donation to a not-for-profit organization, the employer will match the donation with an equal or pre-established cash value. Please check with your company to verify that Bold Brave Courageous meets their criteria for such a donation.

Bold Brave Courageous is a non-profit organization formed in the State of New Jersey with a tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Service Code. All donations to Bold Brave Courageous are tax deductible. Receipts for donations will be issued to all donors who supply their full name and address.
