Beauty salon owner Nick Mascolo isn't thinking about shampooing and highlights.
These days the former Vietnam veteran is preoccupied with helping wounded soldiers returning from Iraq.

Drive will aid hospitalized servicemen
Men and women presently hospitalized at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Washington D.C. and Bethesda Naval Hospital are in great need of many basic personal and travel items.

Aid in spades
Volunteers in Tenafly helped load a rented Chevy van headed for Washington, D.C., with supplies for wounded soldiers Saturday. More than 100 packages were crammed into the van for the trip, which was organized by Vietnam veterans

Helping out
Nick Mascolo of BBC Salon in Tenafly, a Vietnam veteran, loads some of the many items donated for the wounded troops that have served in Iraq. Helping him load the van last Saturday was Tom Egan, whose son was scheduled to return from Iraq in a week. Mascolo and John Clemente were responsible for the donation drive.

Bold Brave Courageous is a non-profit organization formed in the State of New Jersey with a tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Service Code. All donations to Bold Brave Courageous are tax deductible. Receipts for donations will be issued to all donors who supply their full name and address.
